Cambridge Exams

ABC Pathways International Kindergarten is fully empowered by ABC Pathways School. ABC Pathways School’s proudest achievement is our appointment as an “Authorised Centre” by the world renowned Cambridge English Language Assessment department of Cambridge University in 2014.

What are Cambridge: Young Learners English (YLE) Exams?

The Cambridge English YLE Exams are designed to assess the English language skills of children aged between 5 and 12. They help students understand one’s own English ability, strengthening their English language foundation from an early age. YLE Exams are available at 3 assessment levels: Starters, Movers and Flyers.

Each level of the Cambridge English YLE Exams is divided into 3 parts: Listening, Reading and Writing and Speaking, to accurately assess candidates’ capability in each of these 4 areas. There is no pass or fail for the exams. The number of shields candidates are awarded for each part will be shown on their certificate. Candidates can get a maximum of 5 shields for each part of the exam.
