Application Requirements & Procedures:
Grade：
Second term of K2 in application to P1 admission
Duration of study :
Applicants must be students of ABC Pathways International Kindergarten (having studied at ABC for at least 1 school term)
Applicant Qualifications :
Academic Levels: English and Chinese proficiency of Level 5 or above upon completion of K3 program (Admission requirements may differ between schools)
Personality: Student applicants shall exceed expectations of ABC and the school they applied to.
Family Belief: Parents should share similar education philosophy and belief of the schools they apply to.
Step 1：
During the 2nd term of K2 (around April of each year), the School Supervisor of ABC Pathways International Kindergarten meet every family individually in ‘Primary School Career Planning’ to enhance understanding with students’ learning interests, motivations and abilities.
After the meeting, comprehensive evaluations on students’ learning level, behavior and personality are carried out, according to comments from ABC teachers. Relevant schools are recommended to students in consideration of the students’ future development based on the uniqueness of each school. Parents will have a few months to choose which school they apply to before making their final decision in September.
Step 2：
Despite academic excellence and good character of applicants, parents should demonstrate recognition for the positive education philosophy and belief of the schools they apply to, for which Class Teachers, Vice-Principal and the School Supervisor are responsible.
Step 3：
Recommendation letters by the School Supervisor of ABC Pathways School will be directly submitted to the Principals of ‘Connecting Schools’ and ‘Friendship Schools’.
